Doda, February 01, 2024 In a bid to broaden the horizons of students and provide them with valuable exposure, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh, flagged off an educational tour to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. The initiative, under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, aims to enrich the educational experience of students by exposing them to renowned academic institutions. A group of 20 enthusiastic students from Doda District embarked on this enlightening journey from February 01 to February 05, 2024. During their visit to IIT Kanpur, the students had the opportunity to interact with faculty members, attend lectures, and explore the campus facilities. This immersive experience is expected to inspire and motivate the students, fostering their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. DC Doda Harvinder Singh emphasized the significance of such educational tours in shaping the future of students.
